Your responsibilities:
- Advising (drafting legal opinions) on various tax issues, including taxes in the Middle East countries and other matters of international taxation;
- Settling disputes with tax authorities out of court;
- Handling disputes with tax authorities;
- Speaking at public events on tax matters.
The successful applicant will:
- Be versed in the relevant laws and regulations of the UAE and other GCC states;
- Have a qualification in law confirmed by a reputable institution;
- Have a minimum of two years of legal practice in the UAE;
- Have at least 6 years of experience in the field of tax (preferably in the consulting business);
- Speak English at the upper-intermediate level;
- Have advanced computer skills;
- Have strong self-management skills;
- Have excellent communication and self-presentation skills;
- Have the ability to present his/her ideas clearly both in writing and orally;
- Have analytical mindset.
